Dan Schrock Esq.

C. Daniel "Dan' Schrock was born to Christian Elmer Schrock and Dorothy O'Hearn Schrock in Waverly, Iowa on March 3, 1951. During his high school years Dan attended Shattuck School, Fairbault, Minnesota receiving a diploma in 1969. He received a BA from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri in 1973 and a J.D. from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 1977. After being admitted to the bar in Rhode Island, Dan served as a Special Assistant Attorney General from 1979 to 1983. Dan was imn private practice of law in Rhode Island from 1983 to 1994, and then, after working at the Ford motor Company manufacturing facility in Chung Li, Taiwan from 1995 to 2000, resumed his Rhode Island Practice of law from 2001 until his retirement in 2014. In addition, Dan worked for the Rhode Island Warwick Mall Merchants Association as pianist for the Mall from 2008 until 2015.

Membership in professional organizations include the Rhode Island and Iowa Bar Associations, Attorney and Counselor-Rhode Island Supreme Court, Attorney and Counselor-United States District Court for Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Connelly Chapter, Silver Lake Lions Club, Providence Federation of Musicians Local 198-457. Providence Parent Teachers Association and the Shattuck School Crack Squad.

Dan is survived by his wife Chun Liu "Mishell" Schrock, daughter Dorothy A. Schrock of Austin TX. and four siblings and their fasmilies including Christian G. (Mary) Schrock of Minneapolis, MN, Sara (Steve) Dallman of Denver, CO; Kathryn (Paul) Olin of Golden Valley, Minnesota, and Margie (Larry) Nelson of West Des Moines, Iowa.
